Dozens of Serbian cyclists are traveling some 1,300 kilometers to the European Parliament in Strasbourg to draw attention to their country's ongoing anti-corruption campaign. The pedaling protesters were welcomed in the Hungarian capital, Budapest, on April 5 after setting off from the Serbian city of Novi Sad two days earlier. The deadly collapse of a railway station canopy in Novi Sad last November triggered nationwide demonstrations in Serbia, with protesters blaming the government for corruption and poor oversight.
