Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has stated publicly for the first time that his forces have begun operations inside Russia's Belgorod region. Zelenskyy said it was to protect Ukrainian territory, especially the Sumy and Kharkiv regions, which share a border with Belgorod.
